💧 During a recent site visit to investigate poor drainage, we located and opened this stormwater manhole – only to find it almost completely clogged with debris. The inlet from the sump was just visible above the buildup, but with nowhere for the water to flow, the manhole, sump lead, and the sump itself were all full – causing major surface flooding in the area.

🛠️ The outlet pipe sat right at the bottom of this semi-deep manhole, buried under a dense, compacted mass of debris. Although it may look soft, the material was extremely solid – requiring Hydro Excavation to break it apart and remove it safely. We also flushed and suctioned the surrounding pipes, fully restoring flow and returning this manhole to a fully functioning state.
